Bupati Cirebon Buka Porpemkab Tahun 2014

dalamBupati Cirebon Drs. H.  Sunjaya Purwadi Sastra, MM. M.Si secara resmi membuka Pekan Olahraga Pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon (PORPEMKAB) Tahun 2014, Senin (28/04/2014) dan diikuti 300 peserta berlangsung  di Gor Ranggajati Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon.

Kadis Budparpora Drs. H. Asdullah, MM Selaku panitia penyelenggara melaporkan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendorong dan memotivasi Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) agar selalu senang berolahraga serta sebagai ajang mempromosikan dalam rangka persiapan mengikuti kegiatan Porpemda Perbatasan di Kota Cirebon dan Porpemda Tingkat  Provinsi Jawa Barat di Bogor.

Dalam sambutanya Bupati Cirebon mengatakan bahwa kita harus mampu memaksimalkan dalam kompetesi ini dari setiap cabangnya.  Kegiatan ini bukan hanya  seremonial biasa, tetapi  harus mampu berkiprah dan mampu menunjukkan diri kita masing-masing dalam kegiatan olahraga khususnya cabang olahraga yang dipertandingkan.

Dalam pembangunan keolahragaan di Kabupaten Cirebon, Bupati menginginkan untuk kedepan harus menjadi lebih baik lagi dan khususnya di Kabupaten Cirebon pembinaan-pembinaan ini harus sering dilakukan dan diberdayagunakan untuk tujuan utama yaitu mencapai prestasi yang gemilang khususnya di Pemkab Kabupaten Cirebon.

Selanjutnya kemajuan dan perkembangan bidang olahraga sangat penting, karena membangun olahraga sama halnya dengan membangun generasi yang sehat, cerdas dan produktif. “Memasyarakatkan olahraga dan mengolahragakan masyarakat adalah salah tujuan Pemerintah dalam mendorong masyarakat untuk gemar berolahraga”.

Kegiatan olahraga juga bisa dijadikan sebagai sarana untuk membentuk nilai-nilai kemanusiaan seperti sportifitas, kerja keras, kerja cerdas, toleransi, saling menghargai dan cinta damai dalam rangka memperkokoh persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa serta bisa dijadikan modal dasar bagi terwujudnya pembangunan yang berkelanjutan.

Hadir dalam pembukaan Porpemkab Wakil Bupati Cirebon H. Tasiya Soemadi, Sekda Cirebon Drs. H. Dudung Mulyana, M.Si, Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Cirebon H. Mustopa, SH, para Kepala OPD/Camat Kabupaten Cirebon, Ketua KONI Kab. Cirebon dan undangan lainnya.
