Pagelaran Kesenian Tradisional Kabupaten Cirebon

dalamKesenian Tradisional Kabupaten Cirebon beraneka ragam yang tumbuh dan berkembang di masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon dan merupakan pilar kebersamaan bagi seniman dan masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon. Jum’at tanggal 30 Mei 2014 dimulai pukul 20. 00 WIB bertempat di alun-alun Palimanan digelar Pentas Seni Budaya Cirebon dengan tajuk Napak Jagad Cirebon, maksud dari pementasan tersebut adalah untuk menunjukan aspirasi para seniman dalam membesarkan serta menjadikan seni budaya sebagai tempat aspiratif para seniman.

Kegiatan tersebut dihadiri oleh anggota DPRD, Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon,           Kepala Dinas Intansi se-Kabupaten Cirebon, para Camat, seniman serta masyarakat serkitarnya. Ketua panitia Ageng Mega mengatakan kegiatan spektakuler yang digelar kali ini merupakan aspirasi dari para seniman Cirebon yang selama ini mengabdikan pada kesenian, dengan mengambil tema “Napak Tilas Jagad Cirebon” dimaksudkan kandungan seni budaya sebagai warisan leluhur kita yang ada di Kabupaten Cirebon secara spektakuler pada malam hari ini digelar secara umum. Diharapkan dari pagelaran ini seluruh lapisan masyarakat bisa mengetahui dan mengerti tentang kesenian tradisional Kabupaten Cirebon.

Bupati Cirebon Drs. H. Sunjaya Purwadi Sastra, MM., M.Si. pada sambutannya mengatakan kesenian tradisional Cirebon beraneka ragam yang merupakan pilar dari seni budaya masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon yang harus kita pertahankan serta kita lestarikan, sebagai warisan dari para leluhur kita tentunya wajib mempertahankan serta melestarikannya sehingga kesenian tersebut ada dan sebagai karismatik bagi Kabupaten Cirebon yang tidak ternilai harganya. Sebagai seniman tentunya pagelaran semacam ini merupakan wadah aspiratif, konsumtif serta formatif dimana para seniman pada malam hari ini dapat menampilkan pertunjukkan terbaik untuk dapat dipertontonkan kepada masyarakat luas, tentunya dari pagelaran semacam ini para seniman mempunyai harapan agar hasil karya dan aspirasinya dapat diterima oleh segenap masyarakat dan seni budaya Cirebon tetap dapat kita lestarikan sebagai hasil seni dan budaya yang tak ternilai harganya.
