Invitasi Atlet Pelajar Se-Kabupaten Cirebon

Bertempat di Lapang Ranggajati Sumber, Senin (05/04/2012) diadakan pembukaan Invitasi Atletik Pelajar Se-Kabupaten Cirebon yang bertujuan mencari bibit atlet yang akan dipromosikan pada event-event tingkat provinsi maupun nasional sebagai duta olahraga Kabupaten Cirebon.

Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Ketua KONI Kabupaten Cirebon, Hj. Sri Heviana Supardi beserta Unsur Koni, unsur Dinas Pendidikan baik kecamatan maupun kabupaten dan para atlet perwakilan tiap kecamatan  di seluruh Kabupaten Cirebon.

Ketua Koni Kabupaten Cirebon mengatakan atlet dari Kabupaten Cirebon yang telah berhasil mendulang medali selalu kurang perhatian khususnya para atlet-atlet yang masih menjalani pendidikan. Mereka sangat jarang mendapatkan prioritas tertentu dari sekolah yang bersangkutan. Bahkan untuk mengikuti pendidikan yang lebih tinggi pun para atlet ini sangat sulit karena diberlakukan sebagaimana pelajar lainnya. Untuk hal tersebut diharapkan agar dari pihak sekolah dan Dinas Pendidikan dapat memberikan dispensasi  agar para atlet pelajar di Kabupaten Cirebon dapat diprioritaskan baik untuk sekolah maupun dalam melanjutkan sekolahnya.

Kepala Dinas Pendidikan, Drs. H. Kusnadi Muamarto, MM, menjelaskan dengan adanya invitasi atlet pelajar di Kabupaten Cirebon, kita semua dapat melihat para pejuangmedali demi keharuman nama Kabupaten Cirebon dikancah provinsi maupun nasional.
