Petugas peliput Diskominfo kabupaten Cirebon pada tanggal 4 agustus 2013 dijalur alternatif antara Dukuh puntang sampai talun telah mengadakan pemantauan arus mudik melalui jalur alternatif
antara dukuhpuntang sampai talun mulai jam 15.00 -16.00 dari kelurahan tukmudal sampai talun terjadi macet total dikarenakan meningkatnya kendaraan para pemudik juga dikarenakan adanya swalayan dan pasar tumpah serta area ngabuburit para warga disekitar sumber.
Pada kesempatan tersebut diposko Sumber talah hadir Petugas polres Cirebon,Polsek Sumber,Diskes ,pramuka dan ormas, yusron petugas posko dari sek1tor sumber mengatakan kemacetan ini disebabkan mobil para pemudik yang keluar dari pintu tol palimanan dan plumbon diarahkan ke jalur alternatif palimanan sumber sehingga di jalur sumber terjadi pelonjakan Lalulintas yang sangat tinggi sehingga kemacetanpun tidak bisa terhindari namun berkat kesiapan kita semua kemacetan tersebut dapat kita atasi dan sampai detik ini kecelakaan Lalulintas hanya terjadi dijalur sumber talun tepatnya ditengah tengah jembatan cipager ban motor salah satu pemudik pecah dan menyerempet motor temannya namun kecelakaan ini Cuma kecelakaan kecil saja
