Pembangunan dibidang politik masyarakat khususnya di Kabupaten Cirebon telah berjalan sebagaimana mestinya dan diharapkan akan memacu pembangunan pedesaan , sehingga dapat meningkatkan tarap hidup. Pada tanggal 25 Februari 2014 bertempat di ruang rapat paseban telah dilantik H. Muhamad Carkim sebagai kuwu Desa Bungko Kecamatan Kapetakan .
Penjabat Bupati Drs. H. Daud Achmad pada kesempatan pelantikan tersebut mengatakan pembangunan dipedsaan harus berjaln seiring dengan lajunya teknologi dan diharapkan orang yang terpilih dan dipercaya oleh masyarakat sekitarnya dapat menjadi motifator serta penggerak pembangunan demi meningkatnya perekonomian dipedesaan dan meningkatkan tarap hidupmasyarakat.
Kuwu terpilih tentunya orang yang dinomor satukan didesanya ,namun perlu diingat bahwa kuwu bukan merupakan orang yang harus dilayani namun harus bisa menjadi pengayom,penggerak pembangunan serta memotipasi masyarakatnya untuk berpartisipasi aktip dalam pembangunan di desanya .
Pembangunan diKabupaten Cirebon bertumpuh pada pembangunan dipedesaan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan tarap hidup masyarakat, Pembangunan semua program baik dari pusat maupun daerah tentunya beracuan kepada masyarakat, dimana masyarakat sebagai obyek pembangunan serta subyek pembangunan, dengan beraneka ragam warna kehidupannya harus dapat kita rangkul demi terciptanya masyarakat yang adil dan makmur.
Kegiatan tersebut diikuti oleh para simpatisan kuwu terpilih,Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, Muspika Kecamatan Kaptakan, pejabat pemda, kepala Dinas terkait serta sejumlah undangan.Kegiatan tersebut diakhiri dengan ucapan selamat kepada kuwu yang dilantik dari para pejabat dan hadirin.
