Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat kembali menggelar lomba desa tingkat propinsi, Senin (06/05/2013). Kali ini, agenda tahunan itu dipusatkan di Desa Losari Lor Kecamatan Losari Kabupaten Cirebon yang dihadiri Staf Ahli Bupati, Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, Muspika Kecamatan, TP PKK Desa, Kecamatan dan Kabupaten, Para Kepala OPD, Camat se-Kabupaten Cirebon, para Kuwu se-Kecamatan Losari serta undangan lainnya.
Desa Losari Lor Kecamatan Losari berhasil meraih juara pertama dalam lomba desa se-Kabupaten Cirebon. Secara otomatis, Desa Losari Lor mewakili Kabupaten Cirebon dalam lomba desa tingkat Provinsi Jawa Barat. Untuk juara kedua diraih oleh Desa Keduanan Kecamatan Depok, juara ketiga oleh Desa Cisaat Kecamatan Dukupuntang, dan juara keempat oleh Desa Tegalwangi Kecamatan Weru.
Dalam Sambutan Bupati, Asda Kabupaten Cirebon Drs. Rahmat Sutrisno, M.Si mengucapkan selamat atas terpilihnya Desa Losari Lor sebagai desa terbaik dan berhak untuk mengikuti lomba desa tingkat propinsi dan mudah-mudahan Desa Losari Lor meraih prestasi terbaik tingkat propinsi Jawa Barat. Selain itu atas upaya dan prestasinya Pemerintah Daerah juga menyampaikan ucapan selamat semoga seluruh potensi kelembagaan desa losari lor bisa tetap mempertahankan bahkan bisa ditingkatkan lagi prestasinya.
Beliau berharap konsistensi seluruh komponen masyarakat untuk terus melanjutkan aktivitas dibidang Pemerintahan, Pembangunan dan Kemasyarakatan sehingga input yang diterima tim penilai propinsi Jawa Barat benar-benar didasarkan kepada kondisi yang bisa dilihat secara nyata di lapangan. Rahmat sutrisno juga berpesan dalam pembangunan yang kita ketengahkan dalam mengisi upaya percepatan pembangunan di perdesaan masih tetap kita lakukan melalui tindakan memberikan peluang yang sangat luas kepada masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi dalam setiap kegiatan pembangunan disegala bidang, sehingga desa mampu memandirikan dirinya dan mensejahterkan masyarakatnya.
Sementara Tim Penilai dari Propinsi Umiyati, SH.MM membacakan sambutan Gubernur Jawa Barat menyampaikan bahwa lomba desa dimaksud untuk memotivasi dan menggali potensi-potensi yang ada untuk dapat dikembangkan sebagai modal dalam mencapai pembangunan secara utuh. Disamping itu harus dipahami sebuah ajang kompetesi yang sehat dalam meningkatkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing daerah. Dalam penilaian lomba desa dipengaruhi oleh 8 Indikator meliputi pendidikan, kesehatan masyarakat, ekonomi masyarakat, keamanan dan ketertiban, partisipasi masyarakat, pemerintahan, lembaga kemasyarakatan dan pemberdayaan kesejahteraan keluarga.
