Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Cirebon menggelar Pembinaan Lembaga Penyiaran Radio untuk meningkatkan Profesionalisme dan Mutu Penyiaran, Selasa (26/05/2015) berlangsung di Aula Diskominfo jalan Sunan Drajat No. 15 Sumber.
Pembinaan ini diikuti oleh Radio Publik, Swasta Niaga dan Radio Komunitas yang ada di Kabupaten Cirebon dan dibuka secara langsung oleh Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Cirebon Drs. R. Benni Sugriarsa.
Dalam sambutannya Kadis Kominfo mengatakan bahwa dalam era informasi sekarang ini Lembaga Penyiaran merupakan Media Komunikasi Massa yang mempunyai peran penting dalam kehidupan di masyarakat dan merupakan mitra kerja pemerintah yang memiliki kebebasan dan tanggung jawab dalam menjalankan tugas pokok dan fungsinya sebagai media dalam melaksanakan penyebaran informasi tentang program kegiatan dan pembangunan di bidang pendidikan, hiburan yang sehat, sebagai kontrol dan perekat sosial serta melestarikan Budaya Daerah melalui penyelenggaraan penyiaran radio yang menjangkau seluruh Wilayah Kabupaten Cirebon.
Selaku Kepala Dinas, saya memandang lahirnya Permenkominfo Republik Indonesia Nomor 17/P/M.KOMINFO/03/2009 Tentang Diseminasi Informasi Nasional oleh Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi dan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten/Kota merupakan kelengkapan formal, karena selama ini jajaran penyelenggara pemerintahan di Kabupaten Cirebon telah melaksanakan azas keterbukaan, untuk itu dengan ditetapkannya Permenkominfo akan memperlancar tugas pemerintahan dalam melaksanakan amanat rakyat guna mencapai masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon yang madani.
Sementara Kepala Bidang Sarana Komunikasi dan Diseminasi Informasi Dinas Kominfo Kabupaten Cirebon Drs. Sukiman selaku Panitia penyelenggara melaporkan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan maksud untuk Meningkatkan Profesionalisme dan Mutu Penyiaran.
Kegiatan ini juga mempunyai beberapa tujuan yakni untuk meningkatkan pemahaman di Bidang Penyiaran dan memberikan motivasi kepada Lembaga Penyiaran Radio untuk menyelenggarakan penyiaran lebih baik lagi.
Usai pembukaan, acara ini dilanjutkan dengan pemberian materi dari Komisioner Bidang Isi Siaran, Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) Provinsi Jawa Barat Dr. Aep Wahyudin, M.Ag dan Ir. Dedi Purwanto dari Ketua Paguyuban Radio Komunitas Kabupaten Cirebon. (Bens & Sahidin, Diskomimfo).
