Festival Makanan Olahan : Ajang Kreasi Makanan Tradisional

IMG_0003Disperindag Kabupaten Cirebon bekerja sama dengan Tim Penggerak PKK Kabupaten Cirebon mengadakan festival makanan olahan tingkat Kabupaten Cirebon tahun 2013 selama dua hari, yaitu tanggal 3 dan 4 Juli 2013, di Asrama Haji Watubelah. Festival tersebut memperebutkan trophy bergilir, piala, piagam dan uang pembinaan.

Acara pembukaan dihadiri oleh Staf Ahli Bupati, Kepala Disperindag, Ketua PKK Kabupaten Cirebon, Muspida, para camat, ketua PKK Kecamatan se-Kabupaten Cirebon, ketua Ormas, tokoh masyarakat, mahasiswa dan undangan.

Ketua Panitia, Kepala Bidang Industri Disperindag, Supardi, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan hasil kerja sama antara Disperindag dengan PKK, dan total sudah sembilan kali diselenggarakan. Maksud dari acara ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas masyarakat, tim penggerak PKK, mahasiswa agar berkualitas dan dapat bersaing di masyarakat. Sedangkan tujuannya yaitu penganekaragaman kuliner Kabupaten Cirebon, meningkatkan kecintaan masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon terhadap masakan kuliner dan meningkatkan mutu makanan masyarakat. Acara ini diikuti oleh 90 kelompok peserta dengan dewan juri berjumlah sembilan orang.

Acara dilanjutkan dengan sambutan dari Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Kabupaten Cirebon Hj.Sri Heviana Supardi yang mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan rutin yang banyak menghasilkan makanan olahan dengan nama dan kreasi-kreasi baru yang memunculkan ide dan gagasan yang sangat berguna bagi pribadi, keluarga dan masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon umumnya. Kreasi makanan olahan kali ini pun erat kaitannya dengan meningkatkan mutu dan daya jual bahan makanan jagung, kacang-kacangan dan umbi-umbian, yang bukan hanya sehat tapi juga dapat menjadikannya sebagai alternatif makanan yang dapat disajikan dan dinikmati keluarga. Selain itu dapat pula menghasilkan tambahan penghasilan keluarga jika kreasi ini dapat di jual.

Bupati Cirebon melalui sambutan yang dibacakan oleh Kepala Disperindag, Drs. Haki M.Si mengharapkan semoga melalui festival ini dapat tercipta olahan makanan khas daerah Kabupaten Cirebon. Acara dilanjutkan dengan pemukulan gong oleh Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK yang didampingi oleh Kepala Disperindag Kabupaten Cirebon.

Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK beserta seluruh rombongan tak lupa melakukan peninjauan ke stand-stand kreasi makanan yang saat itu juga sedang dinilai oleh semua juri.
