Bupati Cirebon Buka Lokakarya PNPM Mandiri Perkotaan Tahun 2015

Untitled-5Dalam rangka peningkatan pembangunan jangka menengah di Kabupaten Cirebon Tahun 2014-2015 yang diantaranya program penanggulangan  kemiskinan, maka pada hari Rabu tanggal 22 April 2015 bertempat di Asrama Haji Watubelah Kecamatan Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon dilaksanakan kegiatan lokakarya PNPM Mandiri. Maksud diadakannya kegiatan ini adalah untuk peningkatan program PNPM Mandiri yang optimal dalam menangani program pengentasan kemiskinan. Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Bupati Cirebon beserta jajarannya, Kepala Dinas Dinas Cipta Karya dan Tata Ruang, para Camat dan lurah  se-Kabupaten Cirebon.

Kepala DCKTR Ir. H. Sugeng Raharjo, M.MP., melaporkan bahwa kegiatan lokakarya ini merupakan suatu trobosan dalam peningkatan program penanggulangan kemiskinan sehingga pada pelaksanaan di lapangan akan mendapatkan satu kesepakatan dalam peningkatan program  kemiskinan, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 2 hari yaitu dari tanggal 22 sampai dengan 23 April 2015 serta diikuti oleh 540 peserta yang terdiri dari camat, lurah, kuwu dan penggerak dalam bidang pemerataan pembangunan.

Sementara itu Bupati Cirebon Drs. H. Sunjaya Purwadi Sastra, MM.M.Si., dalam sambutannya mengatakan pelaksanaan program–program penanggulangan kemiskinan sampai saat ini belum optimal karena setiap tahunnya belum ada pemutakhiran data kemiskinan yang bersifat by name by address, dan kurangnya pemahaman terhadap permasalahan kemiskinan. Pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon telah berupaya untuk mewujudkan strategi penanggulangan kemiskinan dan kebijakan pembangunan yang bersifat pro pertumbuhan (pro-growth), pro lapangan kerja (pro job) dan pro masyarakat (pro poor). Adapun tujuan dari program tersebut adalah peningkatan kapasitas dan kualitas masyarakat pedesaan dan perkotaan, memberikan akses bagi masyarakat miskin terhadap layanan dasar dan mendukung secara maksimal upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon itu sendiri.
