GIB_beritaDalam menciptakan Indonesia yang sehat, bersih dan sejuk, Jumat, 21 Juni 2013 lalu, di alun-alun Keraton Kasepuhan digelar pencanangan Gerakan Indonesia Bersih (GIB) untuk Kota dan Kabupaten Cirebon. Acara tersebut dipimpin oleh Kepala Staf Pangdam 3 Siliwangi, Suyatno.

Hadir pada kesempatan itu Kepala Dinas Intansi Kota dan Kabupaten Cirebon, jajaran Kodim dan Korem, Ormas, Kerabat Keraton Kasepuhan serta masyarakat kota dan Kabupaten Cirebon.

Kepala Staf Pangdam 3 Siliwangi, Suyatno, pada kesempatan tersebut mengungkapkan Gerakan Indonesia Bersih dilaksanakan di seluruh tanah air Indonesia dengan maksud untuk menciptakan Indonesia yang bersih, segar dan sejuk serta menjalin silaturahmi antara masyarakat dan pemerintah hingga pada akhirnya nanti NKRI akan tetap terjaga dan utuh dalam kesinambungan pembangunan.

Lebih lanjut dikatakan kesinambungan pembangunan akan tercipta bila hambatan, tantangan serta rintangan dapat kita selesaikan dan ini semua dapat kita laksanakan jika antara pemerintah dan masyarakat terjalin ikatan yang kuat.

Kegiatan tersebut diakhiri dengan pelaksanaan kebersihan dilingkungan Keraton Kasepuhan dan keraton disekitar nya.
