LOMBA TEMBANG CERBONAN TINGKAT SMP

dalam Berlangsung Lomba nyanyi tembang cerbonan yang diikuti para peserta dari Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), Rabu (13/08/2014) bertempat di Aula Dinas Kebudayaan Pariwisata Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Cirebon Jalan Sunan Drajat Sumber. Kegiatan ini merupakan rangkain dalam rangka memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia  yang ke-69. Hal itu disampaikan Kepala Disbudparpora Drs. H. Asdullah, MM.
Selaku panitia penyelenggara H. Asdullah juga menyampaikan bahwa beberapa kegiatan telah selesai dilaksanakan diantaranya jalan santai bersama rakyat, olahraga gembira dan lomba lukisan kaca.
Dari 80 Sekolah Negeri hadir 18 peserta, sedangkan dari 67 sekolah Swasta hadir 3  peserta,  H. Asdullah merasa kecewa “ karena ini merupakan kegiatan penting karena anak itu mempunyai potensi akademik (kecerdesan kognitif) dan potensi non akademik (potensi seni dan potensi olahgaranya). Jangan sampai anak-anak mempunyai potensi malah kepala sekolah menyumbat dan ini merupakan kurangnya  ketidakpedulain dari kepala sekolah, padahal tujuan kami adalah mencoba menggali potensi anak-anak kita” ucap Kadis Budparpora.
H. Asdullah mengatakan pada kesempatan ini selaku panitia mencoba menggali potensi anak-anak kita dalam melestarikan lagu-lagu cerbonan  seperti judul lagu sumpah suci, sega jamblang, warung pojok  dan diharapkan kepada guru-guru kesenian dinyanyikan di sekolah-sekolah.
“Dan tujaan berikutnya berjanji kalau ada anak yang juara pertama akan diangkat menjadi anak asuh saya sampai lulus kuliah  dan menjadi guru kesenian karena melihat guru kesenian sangat jarang.” Tambahnya.
Sementara Ibu Wakil Bupati Cirebon, Hj. Darini yang sekaligus membuka acara ini menyampaikan hal senada yakni kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam memeriahkan HUT RI yang ke-69 tingkat Kabupaten Cirebon
Ibu Wakil Bupati Cirebon mengatakan lomba ini yang tujuannya disamping untuk memberikan apresiasi tembang-tembang cerbonan juga menanamkan rasa cinta kepada anak-anak kita terhadap bahasa Cerbon. Hal ini sejalan dengan harapan Bupati Cirebon  yaitu melestarikan bahasa Cerbon.
Selanjutnya Ibu Wakil Bupati mengajak seluruh  pengurus dan anggota PKK dan Dharma Wanita untuk berpartisipasi aktif  dalam setiap ajang yang tujuannya melestarikan kesenian daerah.
Hj. Darini mengharapkan Kepada Dewan Juri agar menilai seobyektif mungkin dan untuk para peserta  selamat mengikuti lomba ini semoga sukses.
