Untuk melihat sejauh mana pelaksanaan Pilkadasung di Kabupaten Cirebon serta kelancaran dari Pilkadasung itu sendiri, tim Komisi Pemilu Provinsi Jawa Barat pada Minggu, 6 Oktober 2013 bertempat di ruang rapat KPU mengadakan kunjungan kerja dalam rangka Pilkadasung Cabup dan Cawabup Kabupaten Cirebon.
Pada kesempatan tersebut hadir Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, Panwaslu Kabupaten Cirebon, Badan Kesbanglinmas, Jajaran Setda Kabupaten Cirebon dan Tim Komisi Pemilu Jawa Barat.
Kepala Kesbanglinmas Kabupaten Cirebon, Drs. H. Ade Setiadi, MM. mengatakan pelaksanaan Pilkadasung tahun 2013 diikuti oleh enam pasang kandidat Cabup dan Cawabup, pada saat tahapan dari pada Pilkadasung di Kabupaten Cirebon tidak ada permasalahan baik dari penyelenggara maupun dari para kandidat itu sendiri, sehingga di Kabupaten Cirebon keadaan sosial politik tetap stabil.
Sedangkan Ketua KPU Kabupaten Cirebon, Drs. Iding Wahidin M.Pdi mengatakan permasalahan yang ada di Kabupaten Cirebon merupakan kesalahan yang bisa dianggap bukan kesalahan. Artinya cuma kesalahan data hak pilih yang sudah meninggal sebelum pelaksanaan Pilkada masih tercatat sebagai hak pilih, serta yang pindah alamat juga masih tercatat pada daftar hak pilih pada TPS, sehingga kesalahan tersebut dianggap bukan kesalahan yang berarti. “Adapun pengaduan dari masyarakat dan kandidat Cabup dan Cawabup tidak lebih dari yang kami sebutkan tadi”, tambahnya.
Tim Komisi Pemilu Jawa Barat yang dipimpin oleh Kepala Deputi Pemerintahan Umum Setda Propinsi Jawa Barat, Dr. Abas Basari mengemukakan bahwa dari kondisi politik dalam pelaksanaan Pilkadasung akan memanas dengan sendirinya karena para pendukung dari para Cabup dan Cawabup tetap ingin memenangkan pasangannnya dengan berbagai cara sehingga kondisi masyarakat mau tidak mau akan ikut terusik. Diharapkan kepada KPUD dan Panwaslu Kabupaten Cirebon agar ekstra hati-hati sehingga pelaksanaan Pilkadasung tetap berjalan dengan baik dan kondusif.
Kegiatan ini dilanjutkan dengan mengadakan monitoring secara langsung ke TPS diantaranya TPS 9 dan TPS 17 Kelurahan Tukmudal Kecamatan Sumber serta TPS 9 Desa Setu Kulon Kecamatan Weru.
