(Sabtu, 09 Mei 2015) Bank Jabar Banten (BJB) Kantor Wilayah III Sumber, Kabupaten Cirebon mengadakan sunatan massal dalam rangka rangkaian agenda HUT Bank BJB yang ke-54. Pada acara tersebut, hadir Bupati Cirebon Drs. H Sunjaya Purwadisastra MM, MSi., dan seluruh jajaran direksi Bank BJB Cabang Sumber.
Dalam sambutannya Bupati Cirebon Drs. H. Sunjaya Purwadisastra, MM. MSi untuk ukuran manusia usia 54 tahun adalah usia yang menunjukan kematangan dalam berfikir dan produktif serta berkarya. Karena itu, peringatan hari ulang tahun ini saya minta tidak sekedar hanya selebrasi semata, tetapi lebih dimaknai sebagai sarana evaluasi terhadap kinerja dan perjalanan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, bangsa dan negara jadi terhadap program-program yang sudah bagus dan bermanfaat hendaknya dipertahankan bahkan lebih ditingkatkan, sedang yang kurang efektif diperbaiki dan dicarikan solusinya.
Karena itu, kepada Bank BJB khususnya Saudara-Saudara yang tergabung dalam masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon Saya sampaikan terima kasih telah berupaya mengajak masyarakat untuk menjaga kesehatan melalui kegiatan khitanan massal yang dilaksanakan hari ini. Saya berharap kepedulian sosial semacam ini terus dilakukan dan ditingkatkan pada waktu mendatang dengan cakupan lebih luas lagi.
Sedangkan kepala Bank BJB Sumber, Ade Muhamad mengatakan, ada kurang lebih 200 anak yatim yang dikhitan dari rencana semula 150 kuota yang disediakan. Kegiatan ini adalah rangkaian HUT Bank BJB yang jatuh pada tanggal 20 Mei 2015 serta kombinasi penyaluran dana Coorporate Sosial Responsibility (CSR). Untuk acara puncaknya rencana akan dilakukan di Bandung.(edys, faiz, sahidin n bens 09 Mei 2015)
