Untuk peningkatan di bidang Pendidikan dan Kesehatan dalam rangka pencerdasan masyarakat serta peningkatan kesehatan, Sabtu (17/05/2014) berlangsung pembangunan tambahan ruang rawat inap sebanyak 50 kamar, masjid dan kampus kedokteran 5 lantai di Rumah Sakit Tiar Medika UMC Kecamatan Astanajapura.
Pembangunan tersebut dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat serta peningkatan Sumber Daya Manusia, selain itu pembangunan tersebut juga dalam rangka peningkatan kredibilitas rumah sakit menjadi kelas umum.
Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Ketua MUI/PP Muhammadiyah Pusat Prof. Dr Din Syamsudin MA, Ketua MUI Jabar, Ketua PP jabar, Jajaran UMC, Jajaran RSU Tiar Medika UMC, Muspika Kecamatan Astanajapura, Ketua MUI Kab. Cirebon, Ketua PP Muhamadiyah Kab. Cirebon, Kota Cirebon, Kab. Kuningan, Kab. Indramayu, Kab. Majalengka dan undangan lainnya.
Ketua Pelaksana / Rektor UMC Dr. Chairul Wahidin S.Ag pada laporannya mengatakan bahwa pembangunan Masjid, Kampus Kedokteran UMC dan penambahan rawat inap sebanyak 50 kamar merupakan suatu persyaratan untuk menjadikan rumah sakit yang berkelas serta merupakan syarat kredibilitas suatu rumah sakit yang dapat mendirikan kampus kedokteran, maka dari itu sesuai dengan misi Muhammadiyah ikut mencerdaskan masyarakat serta meningkatkan kehidupan masyarakat agar dapat meningkatkan keimanan serta meningkatkan syiar Islam. Adapun pembangunan tersebut di atas tanah wakap sebanyak 6.300 meter untuk pembangunan masjid dan 5.300 meter untuk pembangunan ruang kuliah serta tambahan ruang rawat inap.
Ketua PP muhamadiyah Prop. Jabar KH. Acmad Dimyati menekankan kepada jajaran Muhammadiyah dalam meningkatkan syiar Islam agar bertumpu pada peningkatan IPM, dimana Muhammadiyah merupakan salah satu organisasi yang bernafaskan Islam pada kinerjanya bergerak pada kemanusiaan. Untuk itu pembangunan ini diharapkan akan dapat meningkatkan Ukhuwah Islamiyah serta peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakat.
Ketua umum PP Muhamadiyah Prof. Dr. H. Din Syamsudin MA, pada kesempatan tersebut mengatakan Cirebon yang merupakan tower pembangunan Islam di wilayah Propinsi Jawa Barat bagian timur, tentunya wajib hukumnya untuk mempersiapkan diri secara matang guna pelaksanaan berbagai program dari PP Muhammadiyah dan kesemuanya itu ada kaitannnya Cirebon sebagai Kota Wali, ini tentunya akan menjadikan kinerja yang cukup tinggi. Selain itu pembangunan Rumah Sakit Tiar medika dan kampus kedokteran UMC yang Insya Allah Tahun Ajaran 2016 bisa ditempati, menandakan bahwa kinerja PP muhamadiyah Kabupaten Cirebon beserta jajarannya dalam kinerjanya cukup baik .
Lebih lanjut ketua MUI / Ketua PP Muhammadiyah Pusat dalam tausyiahnya mengatakan pembangunan islam merupakan pembangunan yang abstrak dimana yang dibangun adalah perilaku manusia dari para pejabat sampai konglomerat dan rakyat supaya berkelakuan secara islami sesuai dengan tuntunan Al Qur’an dan Hadist Nabi, tentunya memerlukan kesadaran yang cukup tinggi dari semua pihak karena penanaman idiogi pada setiap individual sangat susah salah satu gambaran pada Pileg yang baru dilalui. MUI telah menberikan fatwa bahwa pelaksanaan Pileg nanti sesuai dengan akidah Islam diharamkan untuk menjualbelikan suara, ini semua tidak ada faedahnya bahkan yang terjadi di lapangan adalah kebalikannya. Dalam Pemilihan Presiden nanti mari kita bersama sama untuk memilih Presiden secara hakiki dan dalam situasi tertib aman dan terkendali.
Kegiatan tersebut diakhiri dengan penandatanganan Prasasti dan Peletakan Batu Pertama pelaksanaan pembangunan Ruang Rawat inap, Kampus Kedokteran UMC dan Masjid RSU Tiar Medika UMC. (Sahidin/Bens, Diskominfo)
