Peresmian Gedung Rawat Inap Bagi Penderita Sakit Jiwa

Picture 145Dalam rangka peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon, Sabtu (13/06/2015) berlangsung peresmian Gedung Rawat Inap bagi Penderita Penyakit Jiwa RSUD Arjawinangun. Tujuan dari pembangunan gedung rawat inap tersebut merupakan suatu kelengkapan pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon.

Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Direktur Bina Upaya Kesehatan (BUK) Rujukan Kemkes RI, Jajaran Dinkes Provinsi Jawa Barat, para dirut. Rumah Sakit se-Kabupaten Cirebon, Kepala Dinas/Intansi dan Camat se-Kabupaten Cirebon serta  undangan lainnya.

Direktur RSUD Arjawinangun dr. H. Ahmad Qoyyim, MARS. pada kesempatan tersebut mengatakan pembangunan ruang inap Psikiatri merupakan suatu pewujudan kepedulian Pemerintah Daerah atas kesehatan masyarakat khususnya di Kabupaten Cirebon dengan harapan agar tidak menjadikan beban mental bagi penderita ganguan jiwa manakala kembali di tengah-tengah masyarakat.

Sekretaris Dinkes Jawa Barat pada kesempatan tersebut mengatakan di Jawa Barat hanya ada beberapa RSUD yang menyediakan ruang rawat inap psikiatri diantaranya 2 RSUD berada di Kabupaten Cirebon dengan harapan dengan tersedianya sarana ini bagi penderita gangguan jiwa beserta keluarganya tidak akan terkena beban mental dalam merawat pasien gangguan jiwa karena dirawatnya bukan dirumah sakit jiwa.

Hal senada dikatakan oleh dr. Eka Viora SPKJ Direktur Bina Upaya Kesehatan Jiwa, Direktorat Jenderal Bina Upaya Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia, pihaknya berharap agar RS lain bisa mengikuti apa yang sudah dilakukan oleh RSUD Arjawinangun. Di Indonesia RSUD yang menyediakan ruang inap psikiatri sangat jarang dan hanya ada 14 RSUD yang menyediakan diantaranya 2 di Kabupaten Cirebon dengan alasan mengganggu pasien yang lain juga memerlukan penanganan yang sangat khusus sehingga merepotkan jajaran rumah sakit itu sendiri

Bupati Cirebon Drs.H.Sunjaya Purwadisastra MM.,M.Si mengatakan pembangunan ruang inap psikiater di RSUD Arjawinangun merupakan pewujudan kepedulian pemerintah daerah terhadap peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon agar dapat mengoiptimalkan kesehatannya. Selain itu dihari ulang tahunnya RSUD Arjawinangun ke-36 ini bagi segenap jajaran RSUD Arjawinangun mempunyai kebanggaan tersendiri karena telah dapat merampungkan pembangunan masjid dengan dana swadaya perkembangan di RSUD Arjawinangun  yang  terkait dalam pelayanan kesehatan sangat pesat, bahkan sudah tersedia pelayanan untuk para pasien yang terkena gangguan kejiwaan.

Hal ini tentunya, agar masyarakat yang terkena gangguan jiwa tidak lagi terisolasi, karena mereka dirawat di rumah sakit umum dan ini tentunya hal yang positif bagi pasien.

Jika di Kabupaten Cirebon dibangun rumah sakit jiwa, saya tidak inginkan, karena masyarakat akan menilai negatif terhadap para pasien yang keluar dari RS jiwa dan akan mencelanya. Tapi kalau keluar dari RS umum, tentunya akan berdampak positif.

Mudah-mudahan program-program ini berjalan dengan baik, RS umum yang memiliki ruang psikiater rawat inap di Jawa Barat baru 2, yakni RSUD Arjawinangun dan RSUD Waled, Kabupaten Cirebon. Sudah banyak RS di Indonesia yang memiliki pelayanan psikiater, tapi kalau yang untuk rawat inap masih sedikit. Di Jawa Barat baru di dua tempat, yaitu RSUD Arjawinangun dan Waled.
