Bertempat di Asrama Haji Kelurahan Watubelah Kecamatan Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon, pada hari Rabu tanggal 18 Maret 2015 dilaksanakan acara “Showcase Pameran Program USAID Prioritas”. Hadir pada kesempatan itu Wakil Direktur Program USAID Prioritas, Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Profesi Pendidikan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Cirebon, Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Cirebon, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Cirebon, Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Cirebon, Kepala Bappeda Kabupaten Cirebon dan para Kepala UPT SD se-Kabupaten Cirebon.
Bupati Cirebon Drs. H. Sunjaya Purwadisastra, MM.,M.Si., dalam sambutannya yang disampaikan oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon Drs. H. Dudung Mulyana, M.Si., mengatakan sebagaimana kita ketahui bersama bahwa Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 mengamanatkan kepada kita untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dengan menyediakan pelayanan pendidikan karena itu merupakan tanggung jawab kita bersama untuk mewujudkan pelayanan pendidikan yang merata dan bermutu, sehingga lahir generasi bangsa yang cerdas dan berkualitas sebagaimana dinyatakan dalam Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional yaitu generasi yang memiliki spiritual, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlaq mulia dan terampil. Salah satu kata kunci untuk mencapai tujuan tesebut adalah guru, melalui program kerjasama ini guru-guru di Kabupaten Cirebon mendapatkan bantuan teknis dengan mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan, sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi dan kualitas profesionalnya dalam pelaksanaan tugas.
Acara tersebut diakhiri dengan pemukulan gong oleh Sekda Kabupaten Cirebon yang menandakan bahwa Showcase Pameran Program USAID Prioritas secara resmi telah dibuka.
