TEMU SOLUSI PENGEMBANGAN PRODUK UNGGULAN DAERAH DENGAN PENDEKATAN OVOP

dalamTuparev, Rabu (21/05/2014) berlangsung Temu Solusi Pengembangan Produk Unggulan Daerah dengan pendekatan One Village One Product (OVOP) melalui Koperasi di Provinsi Jawa barat bertempat di Apita Hotel, Cirebon.

Kegiatan ini dibuka secara resmi oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon Drs. H. Dudung Mulyana, M.Si  dan dihadiri perwakilan Deputi Bidang Pengkajian Sumber Daya Kementerian Koperasi dan UMKM RI Ahmad Junaedi, perwakilan  Deputi Bidang Produksi Kementerian Koperasi dan UMKM RI Sarojul, Direktur Korea Trade Incestment Promotion Agency Of Republik Korea (KOTRA) Mr. Lee jang Heed, para peserta dan undangan lainnya.

Sekda Kabupaten Cirebon menyampaikan bahwa sesuai dengan misi Kabupaten Cirebon yaitu mewujudkan masyarakat Cirebon yang agamis, maju, adil, sinergi dan sejahtera, maka peran Koperasi  sangat strategis dalam pembangunan perekonomian di Kabupaten Cirebon yang berbasis ekonomi kerakyatan. Karena itu pemerintah Kabupaten  Cirebon berkomitmen terus mendorong tumbuh kembangnya koperasi sehingga diharapkan dapat memacu perkembangan usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah dalam sektor ekonomi.

Beberapa kebijakan yang terus digulirkan antara lain pengembangan potensi ekonomi di desa pertumbuhan, pemetaan produk unggulan, peningkatan kualitas sumber daya melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Disamping itu juga ada kebijakan tentang penguatan kelembagaan dan usaha melalui bantuan perkuatan usaha dengan tujuan untuk membantu penambahan nilai permodalan.

H. Dudung merasa senang dengan kegiatan Temu Solusi OVOP Kementerian Koperasi dan UMKM RI di Kabupaten Cirebon sebagai kabupaten yang dipercaya untuk dijadikan salah satu lokasi eksplorasi produk unggulan di Indonesia.

Gerakan eksplorasi  produk unggulan  OVOP adalah upaya mereduksi jurang pemisah kegiatan pembangunan di kota dan  pedesaan  dengan mengembangkan ekonomi rakyat berbasis potensi lokal.

Komunitas produk unggulan  yang akan dijadikan lokasi eksplorasi produk unggulan di Kabupaten Cirebon mencakup produk unggulan batik di koperasi Wanita Batik  Ciwaringin, produk unggulan Meubel di koperasi industri meubel kayu Kaliwulu dan produk unggulan rotan di koperasi kerajinan rotan Tegalwangi berpotensi menuju pasar global.

H. Dudung mengajak dan berpesan agar kegiatan temu solusi OVOP dijadikan sebagai event yang penting untuk terus dilanjutkan secara berkesinambungan, sehingga menghasilkan kebijakan yang kooperhenship dalam penanganan pemberdayaan UMKM dan penguatan kelembagaan lokasi di Kabupaten Cirebon.

Sementara menurut Kepala Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Kabupaten Cirebon  Ma’mun Effendi, SH temu solusi ini mempunyai beberapa tujuan yakni untuk menindak lanjuti usulan Kepala Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Kabupaten Cirebon tentang pengembangan produk unggulan Kabupaten Cirebon dan hasil verifikasi koperasi di lapangan; melakukan temu solusi dengan  stakeholder terkait dalam pengembangan produk unggulan daerah; menumbuhkan semangat kepada masyarakat dan gerakan koperasi untuk mengembangkan produk unggulan melalui koperasi.
