Kamis pagi (05/03/2015) dilangsungkan Upacara HUT Polisi Pamong Praja ke 65, Satuan Perlindungan Masyarakat ke 63 dan Hari Pemadam Kebakaran ke 96 Tahun 2015 di Depan Kantor Bupati Jalan Sunan Muria Nomor 07 Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon.
Dalam upacara tersebut bertindak selaku Inspektur Upacara Bupati Cirebon Drs. H Sunjaya Purwadisastra, MM, M.Si yang dalam amanatnya mengatakan kegiatan peringatan HUT Pamong Praja dan Perlindungan Masyarakat kali ini mengambil tema “Dengan semangat hari ulang tahun Polisi Pamong Praja ke 65 dan Perlindungan Masyarakat ke 53 kita tingkatkan kemampuan profesional anggota dalam penegakan Perda, pembinaan ketentraman dan ketertiban umum serta pemberian pertolongan kepada masyarakat”satuan polisi pamong praja dan satuan perlindungan masyarakat adalah institusi yang sangat penting dan strategis bagi jalannya roda pemerintahan didaerah. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, peran strategis satuan polisi pamong praja dan satuan perlindungan masyarakat harus menjadi perhatian pemerintah daerah tanpa perhatian yang serius dan dukungan pemerintah daerah, maka hasil yang dicapai tidak akan optimal.
Sedangkan hari pemadam kebakaran menagambil tema “mari kita cegah bersama kebakaran dan stop pencemaran asap untuk mendukung lingkungan hidup dan penurunan gas emisi rumah kaca”. Upacara peringatan HUT pemadam kebakaran ke 96 hari ini sebagai bentuk aspirasi kepada petugas pemadam kebakaran dan sekaligus gerakan seruan kepada seluruh anak bangsa agar bersama-sama mencegah kebakaran pemukiman, kebakaran hutan dan kebakaran lahan gambut guna menjaga dan mendukung kualitas ekosistem lingkungan hidup serta perwujudan gerakan penurunan emisi gas rumah kaca di Indonesia.
Hadir jajaran Staf Ahli dan Asisten, Kepala OPD se Kabupaten Cirebon, Camat se- Kabupaten Cirebon, dan peserta upacara dari satuan polisi pamong paraja, satuan perlindungan masyarakat dan satuan pemadam kebakaran serta pegawai dilingkup Kantor Setda Kabupaten Cirebon.
Kegiatan diakhiri dengan pemberian ucapan selamat kepada satuan pamong praja, satuan perlindungan masyarkat dan satuan pemadam kebakaran telah melaksanakan tugas dengan baik.(edys/fais,Diskominfo)(05/03/2015)
