Rabu, 17 Juli 2013, di Masjid Jami Baabusalam desa Kedongdong Kecamatan Susukan, dilaksanakan taraweh keliling (tarling) dan pemberian santunan kepada para DKM masjid, imam masjid dan guru ngaji (ustad) dari Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon bertujuan agar para imam masjid, pengurus DKM serta guru ngaji dapat meningkatkan syiar agamanya demi untuk meningkatkan kehidupan beragama bagi warga masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon.
Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh Bupati Cirebon beserta istri, Wakil Bupati beserta istri, Sekda beserta istri, Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, Kepala Dinas/Intansi, Camat Susukan, Camat Arjawinangun, Camat Kapetakan, Camat Panguragan, Camat Kaliwedi dan Camat Gegesik, Kepala Desa se-Kecamatan Susukan, ulama dan masyarakat sekitarnya.
Camat Susukan, Toto Misnoto, S.Sos mengatakan berbagai prestasi dibidang keagamaan yang telah diraih oleh masyarakat Susukan merupakan kerja keras dan koordinasi yang positif antara para ulama dan pemerintah baik desa maupun kecamatan. Diharapkan pada bulan suci Ramadhan tahun ini kegiatan keagamaan baik di masjid maupun mushola lebih ditingkatkan lagi dibandingkan dengan bulan-bulan sebelumnya demi syiar Islam dan mempertebal ketaqwaan kita terhadap Allah SWT.
Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Cirebon, Drs. H. Dedi Supardi, MM mengungkapkan pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon belum bisa secara maksimal memberikan santunan kepada para pengurus dan pelaku syiar Islam mengingat berbagai hal, namun untuk tidak menimbulkan rasa kecewa dan tetap meningkatkan iman dan takwa, Pemerintah tetap memberikan bantuan. “Kami hanya memberikan bingkisan ala kadarnya, semoga amal baik bapak dan ibu yang berkecimpung dalam peningkatan iman dan ketakwaan terhadap Allah SWT akan mendapatkan pahala dari Allah SWT dengan berlipat ganda”, ujarnya.
Kegiatan tersebut diakhiri dengan acara berbuka bersama dan solat taraweh di masjid Baabussalam.
