Kabupaten Cirebon Gelar Peringatan Hari Kartini KE-136

IMG_0846 Pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon menggelar Peringatan Hari Kartini Ke-136 yang diikuti ibu–ibu Pimpinan dan pengurus Organisasi Wanita, Selasa (21/04/2015) dengan tema ”Dengan Semangat Kartini Kita Tingkatkan Peran Perempuan Dalam membangun Ketahanan Keluarga di Kabupaten Cirebon”, berlangsung di Ruang Nyimas Gandasari, Setda Sumber.

Ketua Panitia Penyelenggara Ibu Hj. Henny Irawati Dadang T melaporkan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk memperingati dan menghayati nilai-nilai luhur para pejuang perempuan khususnya Ibu Raden Ajeng Kartini yang telah berjasa memajukan dan memperjuangkan derajat kaum perempuan.

Selain itu juga untuk meningkatkan tali silaturahmi, mempererat rasa kesatuan dan persatuan sesama organisasi perempuan yang tergabung dalam GOW Kabupaten Cirebon.

Hj. Henny menyampaikan bahwa sebelumnya berbagai acara telah dilaksanakan diantaranya bhakti sosial berupa bantuan kepada Yayasan Babussalam Panguragan dan Al-Ihsan Jatimerta Gunungjati.

Sementara Hj. Wahyu Tjiptaningsih, SE selaku Pelindung Gabungan Organisasi Wanita (GOW) menyampaikan bahwa peringatan ini sekaligus akan menjadi bukti bahwa kita sebagai generasi penerus masih tetap konsisten melanjutkan tugas sejarah yang sudah dicanangkan oleh ibu kita Kartini lebih dari satu abad yang lalu.

Peran pembangunan bagi kaum perempuan harus diawali dengan upaya membangun diri sendiri agar dapat membentuk menjadi SDM yang berkualitas, sedangkan untuk mendukung terwujudnya kualitas masyarakat yang diinginkan maka keluarga sebagai pilar utama masyarakat harus kita bangun dengan kesungguhan.

Pelindung GOW menaruh harapan pada seluruh kaum perempuan untuk terus menerus mengembangkan kualitas penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi agar tidak tertinggal oleh kemajuan zaman yang semakin pesat. Semoga harapan ini menjadi kesepakatan dan tekad kita bersama untuk mewujudkan masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon yang sejahtera.

Bupati Cirebon Drs. H. Sunjaya Purwadisastra, MM.,M.Si mengatakan sependapat bahwa isu sentral yang harus dikembangkan oleh kaum perempuan pada saat ini harus diisi dengan pemikiran dan gagasan untuk meningkatkan keberdayaan pada setiap aspek kehidupan termasuk peran ganda pada lingkungan keluarga yang menjadi tanggung jawab bersama.

Sangat banyak uraian dan tugas kaum perempuan yang tak tegantikan oleh kaum pria. Peningkatan kualitas hidup perempuan merupakan rujukan strategis agar kaum perempuan berperan aktif dalam pembangunan menuju kesejahteraan.

Hadir dalam acara tersebut Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon Drs. H. Dudung Mulyana, M.Si, Ketua DPRD Kab. Cirebon H. Mustopa, SH, Muspida, Kepala OPD/Camat se-Kabupaten Cirebon dan undangan lainnya.
