Dalam rangkaian kegiatan peringatan hari HIV/AIDS sedunia tingkat Kabupaten Cirebon diselenggarakan berbagai kegiatan serta bakti sosial yang dilaksanakan oleh segenap unsur anti HIV/AIDS yang puncaknya dilaksanakan apel hari HIV/AIDS bertempat di depan Kantor Bupati Cirebon yang dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan kampanye senyum dengan membagikan bunga mawar kepada seluruh masyarakat di Kabupaten Cirebon dan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Desember 2013.
Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakn dan dihadiri oleh simpatisan dan LSM peduli HIV/AIDS serta dinas/instansi terkait.
Pada apel hari HIV/AIDS, Wakil Bupati Cirebon H. Ason Sukasa, Sm.Hk selaku pembina upacara mengatakan diantaranya penyakit yang sangat memprihatinkan dan sampai kini belum ada obatnya yaitu HIV/AIDS bahkan virus ini sangat mematikan sehingga kita semua perlu memberikan perhatian khusus terhadap penderitanya. Ini dimaksudkan agar kita semua dapat sesegera mungkin untuk mengetahui penularan HIV/AIDS serta pencegahan sehingga virus yang mematikan ini dapat kita minimalisir.
Kegiatan tersebut dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan kampanye anti HIV/AIDS yang kemudian membagikan bunga mawar yang dibagikan oleh aktivis anti HIV/AIDS dan partisipasiannya.
