Masyarakat Padati Acara Karnaval dan Nadran Gunungjati

nadran dalemRibuan masyarakat padati arak-arakan di Gunungjati, Jumat (15/11). Acara Adat Nadran Sedekah Bumi dan Pesta Laut ini merupakan adat dari masyarakat Gunungjati yang merupakan adat tahunan setiap tanggal  10 Muharam dan merupakan rasa syukur masyarakat tani dan nelayan setempat atas rezeki yang diberikan oleh Allah SWT sehingga dengan acara syukuran tersebut diharapkan pada tahun berikutnya rezekinya bertambah.

Nadran dan Sedekah Bumi tahun ini yang dilaksanakan sejak pukul 14.00 – 18.00 dan diikuti oleh 197 grup karnaval dengan mengambil rute makam kramat Gunungjati menuju Bunderan Jl. Siliwangi kembali menuju ke makam Kramat Gunungjati dan malam harinya digelar kesenian tradisional.

Sedangkan pada Sabtu paginya (16/11), sejak pukul 06.00 berlangsung Karnaval Perahu yang bertempat di Sungai Condong, malam harinya dilanjutkan dengan doa bersama dan pagelaran kesenian tradisional.

Acara masih berlanjut Minggu sore (17/11) dengan dilaksanakan Pagelaran Kesenian Tradisional  dan pada Senin malam (18/11) doa bersama di makam Syech Sunan Gunungjati.

Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Kepala BKKP, Pejabat Keraton Kesepuhan, Kanoman, Kecirebonan dan Keprabonan, Muspida, Kepala Disbudparpora beserta jajarannya serta Camat Gunungjati beserta Kuwu se-Kecamatan Gunungjati.

Kepala Disbudparpora Drs. H. Asdullah, MM mengatakan acara Adat Sedekah Bumi dan Nadran di Gunungjati merupakan acara pesta rakyat dan menjadi  agenda tahunan sehingga sudah selayaknya kita  ajukan untuk mengikuti lomba karnaval acara tradisional ke tingkat Provinsi Jawa Barat maupun tingkat  nasional. Disamping itu kegiatan ini juga merupakan aset Wisata Daerah yang unik dan atas dukungan partisipasi masyarakat yang cukup baik, sehingga selayaknya Pemda juga ikut berperan aktif dalam pesta sedekah bumi dan nadranan ini serta menjadi Obyek Wisata Tahunan.
