Kunjungan Kerja Bupati Cirebon Pada Acara Panen Raya

dalamPanen raya merupakan sarana pengukuran kemampuan dan peningkatan produktivitas petani dalam rangka peningkatan taraf hidup Tujuan panen raya tersebut adalah mempertahankan produktivitas mitra kerja petani sebagai sarana dalam mempertahankan Cirebon sebagai salah satu daerah lumbung padi di Jawa Barat. Pelaksanaan panen raya tersebut berlangsung di kelompok tani Senang Hati Desa Bayalangu Kidul Kecamatan Gegesik pada tanggal 16 April 2014.

Penanaman padi pada musim tanam 2013 – 2014 yang sekarang kita panen merupakan penanaman padi dengan menggunakan metode PTT (pengolahan penanaman terpadu), teknologi penanaman padi dengan menggunakan metode pemilihan varietas bibit, pengolahan tanam secara terpadu, pemupukan, pemberantasan hama secara terpadu, pengairan dan pasca panen terpadu. Disamping itu pada musim tanam 2013 – 2014 di daerah Kabupaten belahan barat dan utara yang merupakan sentra pertanian baru bisa menghasilkan 200% dengan arti penaman padi dalam satu tahun baru bisa ditanami sebanyak    2 (dua) kali bila  sistem irigasi Waduk Gede pengoperasiannya sudah maksimal maka akan ada peningkatan menjadi produktivitasnya menjadi 300% dalam arti 1 (satu) tahun petani bisa memetik padi bisa 3 (tiga) kali. Pada panen tahun ini hasil dari ubinan yang mengambil sampel di tiga titik yang berbeda mendapatkan hasil perhektar 6,80 ton ungkap Kepala Distanbunakhut Kabupaten Cirebon        Dr. Ir. Ali Effendi MM.

Drs. H. Sunjaya Purwadisastra MM. MSi pada sambutannya mengatakan mempertahankan daerah lumbung padi tentunya memerlukan berbagai fasilitas dimana produktivitas petani harus meningkat namun lahan olahan semakin menyempit. Tentunya ini perlu kita sikapi bersama sehingga para petani dapat meningkatkan hasil produksinya, penggunaan metoda teknologi pengolahan secara terpadu merupakan salah satu pengembangan hasil usaha para petani, namun dibalik itu tentunya para petani harus kita bekali dengan berbagai keahlian serta permodalan sehingga para petani dalam mengolah lahannnya dapat maksimal. Pada musim tanam 2013 – 2014 luas lahan 910.142Ha ter realisasi 909.045 menghasilkan gabah kering giling sebanyak 6.207.266 ton atau 427.664 ton beras sehingga surplus beras kita sebanyak 13.365 ton. Selain padi Kabupaten Cirebon juga merupakan produksi gedong gincu, bawang merah, dan tebu bahkan untuk gedong gincu kita telah mengekspor ke Negara Arabia, Qatar, Singapura, Malaysia, Dubai dan Hongkong. Bahkan dalam pengekspor gedong gincu tersebut warga memberikan nama CV. Sumber Sae. Dari permintaan pasar dunia yang banyak diminati dari Kabupaten Cirebon adalah jamur merang dan jamur biji tentunya ini merupakan lahan baru bagi para petani kita maka untuk itu lebih dikembangkan guna memenuhi permintaan pasar dunia.

Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut pejabat pertanian Prov. Jawa Barat, Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, anggota DPRD, Kabulog Cirebon, Petugas Statistik, para Camat dan Kuwu se- Kabupaten Cirebon. Kegiatan tersebut diakhiri dengan pemotongan padi secara simbolis oleh Bupati Cirebon, Wakil Bupati, Sekretaris Daerah, Muspida dan serta anggota PKK Kabupaten Cirebon(Sahidin /Edys,Diskominfo)
