Senin (16/12), perwakilan PNS dan Pelajar di lingkungan Kabupaten Cirebon mengikuti turnamen tenis meja tingkat Kabupaten Cirebon Tahun 2013 di GOR Ranggajati Sumber.
Kejuaraan ini merupakan salah satu ajang untuk menggali atlet yang berprestasi dan dijadikan wahana untuk mencari bibit berbakat dalam kegiatan olahraga tenis meja, hal ini disampaikan Drs. H. Dudung Mulyana, M.Si P.Lt Bupati Cirebon pada pembukaan turnamen tenis meja antar PNS dan Pelajar di lingkungan Kabupaten Cirebon tingkat Kabupaten Tahun 2013.
H. Dudung berharap dengan turnamen tenis meja ini dapat menjadi suatu momen yang sangat penting untuk bisa mengembangkan atlet-atlet tenis meja Propesional di Kabupaten Cirebon.
H. Dudung berpesan kepada semua dalam bertanding agar bisa menjaga sportivitas yang tinggi dan mengedepankan kebersamaan serta memelihara tali persaudaraan melalui olahraga ini agar Kabupaten Cirebon tetap damai dan aman.
Usai sambutan H. Dudung didampingi Ketua KONI Hj. Sri Heviana Supardi dan Kepala Disbudparpora Kabupaten Cirebon Drs. H. Asdullah, MM melakukan pemukulan gong sebagai acara dimulai dn menuju lapangan tenis meja melakukan servent pertama melawan ketua KONI.
Dari hasil turnamen tersebut yang berlangsung selama dua hari diantaranya dari kelas tunggal putra PNS juara I diraih oleh Pujo dari Kec. Karang Wareng, juara II oleh H. Ery Susanto, S.Ip, M, Eng Diskominfo dan juara III diraih oleh H. Narto dari Dishub Kabupaten Cirebon. Sementara PNS tungal Putri juara I diraih Lela SRA, S.Pd dari Dukupuntang, Weni Riyanti dari BPPKB dan juara III Nurbaeti, S.Kes dari Gegesik.
Sedangkan tunggal Pelajar Putra juara I Muhammad Hafidz dari SMAN 1 Babakan, juara II diraih Reza Fahrur R SMAN 1 Palimanan, Juara III Asep. S dari SMPN 1 Pabedilan. Untuk tuggal putri Ayu Lestari Yajid dari SMAN I Sumber, juara ke II diraih Dita Devi Anggraeni SMKN 1 Jamblang dan juara III diraih oleh Syifa SMPN 2 Sedong.
