Dalam rangka peningkatan kesadaran bernegara dan berbangsa serta memperkokoh persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa, bertempat di kantor Kecamatan Kedawung (Selasa, 21/05/13) dilaksanakan Sosialisasi Antisipasi dan Pencegahan Tindakan Terorisasi.
Hadir parda kesempatan tersebut Kapolsek Kedawung, Camat Kedawung beserta staf, Danramil Kedawung, Kepala Desa dan Kaur Umum Desa se-Kecamatan Kedawung, Dinas Instasi se-Kecamatan Kedawung, tokoh Masyarakat serta Lembaga Desa se-Kecamatan Kedawung.
Drs. Azhar Riyadi, Camat Kedawung, pada kesempatan tersebut menyampaikan bahwa pertumbuhan teknologi yang semakin pesat menuntut kita untuk lebih meningkatkan kewaspadaan khususnya dalam hal-hal yang menyangkut tantangan, rintangan dan hambatan untuk melajunya pembangunan yang dewasa ini kita laksanakan. Menjelang Pilbup mendatang kita semua sudah sangat merasakan situasi HGAT (Hambatan Gangguan Ancaman dan Tantangan) yang akan selalu timbul, dimana suhu politik sekarang ini sedang meninggi sehingga kita sebagai pelaksana dan penerima pembangunan yang sesuai dengan amanat UUD 45 tentunya wajib hukumnya untuk menciptakan stabilitas keamanan yang kondusif.
Kapolsek Kedawung, Alisman, pada kesempatan tersebut mengatakan dewasa ini kita telah digegerkan dengan berbagai permasalahan baik keamanan maupun politik. Namun yang sangat menghawatirkan tentunya dengan adanya DPO (Daftar Pencarian Orang) beberapa orang yang dicurigai sebagai anggota dari aksi para teroris yang berada diwilayah Kabupatem Cirebon, sehingga kita perlu mewaspadai akan beberapa aktivitas sekelompok maupun perorangan yang mungkin akan berakibat tindakan kriminalisme, bahkan mungkin sebagai terorisme sangat membahayakan bagi kehidupan kita sekalian dan satu satunya jalan untuk menangani hal tersebut adalah 5 M yaitu, Mewaspadai akan adanya kelompok maupun perorangan yang selalu keliatan mencurigakan, Mengindentifikasi akan kegiatan kelompok atau perorangan yang dicurigai, Melaporkan kepada pihak berwajib, Menggalang rasa persatuan dan kesatuan dan Membina keluarga kita dengan beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Allah SWT.
Sementara Jamasri dari Danramil Kedawung mengatakan HGAT tentunya sangat berkaitan dengan Pilar-Pilar Kebangsaan karena disana segala Hambatan, Ganguan, Ancaman dan Tantangan akan dapat kita sirnakan bila kita memiliki kunci 5 T, yakni diantaranya Tentukan arah dan tujuan keluarga kita untuk memperkokoh persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa, Tingkatkan Solidaritas kita terhadap nusa dan bangsa, Tafsirkan situasi lingkungan kita dengan Pancasila dan UUD 45, Tentukan para generasi muda kita ke hal-hal yang positif, Tilik ke belakang para pejuang kita yang dengan gigih mempertahankan bangsa dan negara hingga mengorbankan jiwa raga dan harta. Dengan 5 T tersebut tentunya kita dapat menghalang pergerakan terorisme bahkan harus dapat memusnahkan rantai terorisme.
Kegiatan tersebut diakhiri dengan dialog interaktif antara Muspika Kedawung dengan hadirin yang dipimpin langsung oleh Camat Kedawung.
