Senin, 20 Mei 2013 lalu bertempat di Pendopo Rumah Dinas Bupati, sebanyak 162 atlet telah dilepas secara resmi oleh Bupati Cirebon Drs. H. Dedi Supardi MM untuk mengikuti Porkab antar Perbatasan 2013, yang akan dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Cilacap.
Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut kepala dinas terkait, Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, anggota DPR serta undangan lainnya.
Kadisbudparpora Drs. H. Asdullah selaku Ketua rombongan atlet PNS, melaporkan dalam rangka menghadapi porkab antar perbatasan 2013 ini, Kabupaten Cirebon mengirimkan sebanyak 162 atlet dan akan mengikuti pertandingan sepak bola, catur, tenis meja, bola voli, sepak takraw. Untuk cabang kesenian, Kabupaten Cireboin mengikutkan kesenian buroq dan tari topeng. Sementara untuk hasil produksinya akan dipamerkan batik Trusmi, batik Ciwaringin dan kerajinan kerang.
Bupati Cirebon Drs. H. Dedi Supardi, MM berpesan agar para atlet dan duta seni Kabupaten Cirebon membawa nama baik bagi Kabupatennya dan bertanding secara profesional sehingga kita semua akan mendapatkan kemenangan yang benar-benar nyata. Disamping itu diharapkan kepada semua Atlet PNS yang akan berlaga di Kabupaten Cilacap dapat menjaga stamina dan kesehatan sehingga pada saat bertanding akan mendapatkan stamina yang fit.
Kegiatan tersebut diakhiri dengan pelepasan rombongan yang dilaksanakan oleh Ketua Koni.
