Gerakan Bulan Dana PMI Kabupaten Cirebon tahun 2013 resmi dimulai. hal ini ditandai dengan pelantikan Panitia Gerakan Bulan Bhakti yang dilaksanakan di Ruang Paseban Setda Kabupaten Cirebon, Selasa, 17 September 2013. Panitia tersebut dilantik langsung oleh Wakil Bupati Cirebon, H. Ason Sukasa, SmHk.
Adapun susunan pengurusnya adalah sebagai berikut :
Pelindung : Unsur Pemerintah Daerah dan Ketua DPRD, Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon,
Wakil Ketua 1 : Administrasi pemerintahan dan Kesra,
Wakil Ketua 2 : Kepala Dinas Pendidikan
Wakil Ketua 3 : PT PLN Persero
Sekretaris : Kabag Kesra Setda
Bendahara : Kepala BJB Jabar Banten, dan dibantu oleh 3 seksi dan 6 koordinator kolektor.
Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, Kepala Dinas se-Kabupaten Cirebon, Camat se-Kabupaten Cirebon serta BUMN dan BUMD di lingkungan Pemda Kabupaten Cirebon.
Wakil Ketua PMI Kabupaten Cirebon, dr. J. Suwanta Sinarya, M.Kes. mengatakan gerakan bulan dana PMI sekarang ini bertepatan dengan ulang tahun PMI ke-66 dimana masalah sosial dan kesenjangan ekonomi sangat mencolok dan bencana alam ada dimana-mana. Untuk hal tersebut PMI yang merupakan wadah kemanusiaan tentunya akan ikut meringankan beban dari saudara-saudara kita yang terkena musibah.
Sedangkan ketua panitia yang dilantik, Drs. H. Dudung Mulyana, M.Si mengatakan keberhasilan dari gerakan bulan dana PMI sangat tergantung dari para kolektor, Kepala Dinas serta seluruh warga masyarakat Kabupaten Cirebon yang mampu, tentunya dengan menyisikan sedikit rezeki demi kemanusiaan yang sangat berati bagi saudara saudara kita yang terkena bencana. PMI yang merupakan wadah sosial kemanusiaan akan terus eksis dan aktif dalam menangani berbagai permasalahan kemanusiaan, untuk hal tersebut diharapkan kepada para kolektor akan tetap meningkatkan kinerjanya dalam pencarian dana sehingga PMI Kabupaten Cirebon pada waktu mendatang lebih banyak lagi berperan dalam hal kemanusiaan .
Kegiatan tersebut diakhiri dengan pemberian sumbangan secara spontan dari para hadirin.
