Kapolres Cirebon Pimpin Apel Serpas Jelang Pemilu 2014

dalamJajaran Kepolisian Cirebon (Polres Sumber) Gelar Apel Pergeseran Kesiapan (SERPAS) dalam rangka Pengamanan Pungut dan Hitung Suara Pemilu Legislatif Tahun 2014 yang dipimpin langsung Kapolres Cirebon AKBP. Irman Sugema, Senin (07/04/2014) berlangsung di lapangan Ranggajati Sumber.

Kapolres bersama  Bupati Cirebon, Dandim 0620, Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Cirebon, unsur Muspida melakukan peninjauan langsung kesiapan pasukan yang akan mengamankan jalannnya pemilu legislatif tersebut.

Dalam amanatnya Kapolres Cirebon menyampaikan  bahwa apel ini merupakan rangkaian dari Operasi Mantap Brata 2014 yang telah dilalui, hal ini untuk memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman pada pelaksanaan Pemilihan Calon Legislatif pada 09 April Mendatang. Jajaran Kepolisian menerjunkan 14.816 personil yang terdiri dari TNI, POLRI, Pol PP, Linmas dan Unsur terkait untuk mengamankan 3.704 TPS se-wilayah hukum Polres Cirebon Kabupaten.

Kapolres mengatakan  saat ini kita memasuki tahap inti yakni tahap pemungutan suara pengamanan yang akan kita lakukan secara preventif dan represif yang didukung upaya penegakan hukum serta dibantu dengan  kegiatan   intelejen.

Tujuan pengamanan tidak lain untuk menjamin terselenggaranya kegiatan Pemilu legislatif tahun 2014 agar berjalan dengan lancar, tertib dan aman sebagai salah satu bentuk integritas tugas aparat pengamanan dalam memelihara kamtibmas, penegakan hukum dan memberikan perlindungan, pengayoman serta pelayanan terhadap masyarakat.

Dengan apel Pergeseran ini juga bertujuan untuk memantapkan kesiapsiagaan baik personil, perlengkapan dan cara bertindak dalam acara Pemilu legislatif 2014.

Kapolres berharap untuk bisa melaksanakan tugas dengan sebaik-baiknya, kedepankan pencegahan, laksanakan dengan tulus ikhlas karena bagaimanapun kita diberikan amanat oleh masyarakat dan bangsa kepada kita selaku aparat keamanan. Masyarakat menginginkan Pemilu kondusif, aman, damai dan nyaman.

Ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan diantaranya amankan lokasi  dengan sebaik-baiknya serta  dikoordinasikan secara sinergis antara POLRI, TNI dan aparat keamanan lainnya agar pelaksanaan pemungutan suara tidak terganggu dan tetap dilaksanakan sesuai pada waktunya.

Kapolres menghimbau kepada seluruh Kapolsek dan Petugas Pengamanan agar mengecek dan memastikan lokasi TPS yang ada di wilayah masing-masing benar-benar siap dan aman, sehingga pada pelaksanaannya tidak terjadi hambatan yang dapat mengganggu jalannya pemungutan dan perhitungan suara. Catat dan monitor secara intensif hal-hal yang berpotensi menimbulkan konflik dan secara aktif melaporkan kepada atasannya sebagaimana antisipasi kemungkinan terjadinya konflik tersebut.

Apel Serpas diikuti jajaran Kepolisian, TNI, Pol PP, Linmas dan aparat keamanan  lainnya. Apel ini juga dihadiri  Ketua Panwaslu Kabupaten Cirebon, Kepala OPD dan tamu undangan lainnya.
