Penutupan Lomba Desa dan Penilaian Lomba Desa Tingkat Provinsi Jawa Barat

Bertempat di Desa Sedong Lor Kecamatan Sedong pada tanggal 29 Mei 2012 telah dilaksanakan penilaian lomba desa tingkat propinsi sekaligus penutupan.

Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut tim penilai lomba desa Provinsi Jawa Barat, Muspida Kabupaten Cirebon, Dinas Intasi terkait, Wakil Bupati berserta istri, para kuwu se-Kecamatan Sedong, 10 kuwu peserta lomba desa serta masyarakat dan lembaga Desa Sedong Lor.

Wakil Bupati Cirebon menyampaikan bahwa dengan telah selesainya penilaian, yang menghasilkan 10 pemenang dalam lomba Desa, baru tuntas satu tahap penyelesaian dalam rangka pembangunan desa di Kabupaten Cirebon. Wabup berharap desa-desa di Kabupaten Cirebon terus memacu dan memicu pembangunan sehingga pembangunan di Kabupaten Cirebon akan dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat desanya.

Ketua Tim Penilai Lomba Desa Provinsi Jabar menjelaskan beberapa kategori yang harus ada pada desa yang akan diajukan pada lomba desa tingkat Propinsi maupun Nasional diantaranya administrasi, pemerintahan, kelembagaan dan kamtibmas serta beberapa kategori lainya.

Adapun 10 pemenang lomba desa tersebut adalah Desa Sedong Lor Kecamatan Sedong, Desa Karang Wareng Kecamatan Karang Wareng, Desa Jagapura Kidul Kecamatan Gegesik, Desa Karang Wangun Kecamatan Babakan, Desa Kejuden Kecamatan Depok, Desa Sindang Jawa Kecamatan Dukupuntang, Desa Matangaji Kecamatan Sumber, Desa Kedung Jaya Kecamatan Kedawung, Desa Karangsari Kecamatan Weru serta Desa Karangreja Kecamatan Suranenggala. Kesepuluh pemenang ini akan mendapatkan piagam, lencana dan uang pembinaan sedangankan juara satu sampai juara tiga ditambah dengan tropi sedangkan peserta lomba desa yang tidak masuk pada 10 besar akan mendapatkan piagam dan lencana.
